What I'm doing now

I’ll be moving packages soon. The hunt for a desirable job has been incredibly difficult for many people including myself. But there’s hope for finding work. It turns out there is a place that rarely rejects applicants. I took the 15 minute online test and about an hour later I was informed by email that I got the job. You might have heard of Amazon’s fulfillment center.

The work is warehouse work. You’ll be standing and walking all day, moving packages from one place to another. The wage starts at $15.75 USD/hour and you have the choice to work part-time or full-time. I will be starting after the holidays. It will be honest work. Let’s see how this goes.

Earlier this month, I was informed that my company 88pixels to-go was selected to join Geekdom’s incubator program. The opportunity gives us the chance to create a civic technology solution for the city of San Antonio. More on that later.

I don’t usually make plans for the new year, but I will be for 2021. If 2020 taught us anything–it’s that we all need a plan. 再见2020,我们不需要你了
